Ministries: Children and Youth
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he
will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Children and youth are integral parts of our ministry’s achievement. We consistently involve and engage with young people who not only attend our church, but who live in our community. Our children and youth ministries encourage young people who profess a hope in Christ to learn more about Him and become more involved in daily Christian living. Although our goal is to provide activities that focus on spiritual development and growth, we strive not to offer an overtly religious agenda, so that we may meet them where they are.
Each of these ministries is led by dedicated ministry leaders who understand the complexities and challenges young people face in everyday life. We connect this special group with young yet seasoned individuals who can relate to their specific needs, concerns, and issues while following Biblical principles and ethics. Furthermore, each leader who works within these ministries receives pastoral oversight to instruct and disciple children and youth.
Young people enjoy weekly fellowships, holiday celebrations, field trips/community outings, conventions, conferences, summer camps and other wholesome things offered in a safe, nurturing environment.
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the
evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say,
I have no pleasure in them.” – Ecclesiastes 12:1
